Eloisa Salcedo

Eloisa, born and raised in Mexico, moved to America for the opportunity of a college education. Now, she lives in Denver Colorado with her 74 year old mother and teaches art at Strive Prep middle school. She and her mother share a very special relationship.

Mom, she's my family, we do everything together and we have a lot of fun together…”

She sells stationary, among other products, specializing in hand drawn tessellations, her primary influence is MC Escher, though she takes a more colorful and creative approach to his work. Her portraits on the other hand are an intriguing and original mixture between abstract and realism, using both pen and watercolor.

Because she is a teacher at heart, she hopes to take her business to a level where she can fund art schools across the world and change the lives of kids who wouldn't normally have access to art.
